We are looking for a passionate Elementary Teacher to join our team at WISE Charter School, dedicated to nurturing the whole child. You’ll need a Bachelor of Education Degree and an Alberta Teaching Certificate, along with exceptional communication and organizational skills. A commitment to ongoing professional development is essential as you implement nurturing Waldorf methods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach using Waldorf pedagogy principles
• Develop creative and engaging lesson plans
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively
• Participate in collaborative discussions with parents
• Attend professional development and training opportunities
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education Degree required
• Alberta Teaching Certificate needed
• Preference for 1 year teaching experience
• Current Level C First Aid certification
• Police Check with Vulnerable Sector completed within last 6 months
