The Department of Humanities invites applications for teaching JAPN 101 and JAPN 102. While a Master’s degree is the minimum requirement, a PhD is preferred, along with prior teaching experience. This position supports language learning with a focus on collaboration and community engagement at Mac Ewan.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct students in introductory and intermediate Japanese
• Create inclusive and diverse lesson plans
• Evaluate student performance through assessments
• Engage in continuous professional development
• Collaborate with faculty across language programs
Requirements:
• Master’s degree;
PhD highly desirable
• Relevant teaching experience in higher education
• Ability to teach additional languages is advantageous
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
