Part-Time Math​/Science Teacher

Become a part-time teacher-tutor at Oxford Learning Edmonton Tamarack, helping students enhance their math and science skills. This in-person role focuses on teaching and guiding learners after school hours.

Oxford Learning is looking for passionate individuals to join as part-time Math/Science Teacher-Tutors. This role is ideal for those with a strong grasp of Grades 9-12 math and science curricula, and you will work with up to three students at a time. A commitment through the school year, ideally extending into summer, is preferred to ensure continuity and effective learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach math and science to small groups of students

• Work in-person using Oxford Learning methodologies

• Complete daily communication and post-lesson notes

• Maintain professionalism and friendliness at all times

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or similar in a relevant field

• Previous math and science tutoring experience

• Strong communication skills in English

• Ability to multitask with multiple students

• Knowledge of Grades 9-12 curriculum
