Join H.W. Pickup and Frank Maddock High in Drayton Valley, Alberta, as a full-time teacher. This collaborative role spans Grade 5 and English, demanding flexibility.

We are looking for a dedicated teacher to serve both H.W. Pickup School and Frank Maddock High School. This unique position consists of a .5 temporary and .5 probationary teaching assignment, with responsibilities divided between Grade 5 at H.W. Pickup and English at Frank Maddock. The successful candidate will be expected to move daily between the sites, promoting a flexible and supportive educational atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons for Grade 5 students

• Teach English and other subjects at Frank Maddock High

• Foster collaboration among faculty at both schools

• Design inclusive lesson plans for diverse learners

• Engage with parents and the community for feedback

Requirements:

• Alberta teaching certification required

• Satisfactory recent Criminal Record check

• Experience in elementary and secondary education
