WISE Charter School is actively hiring Elementary Teachers committed to Waldorf pedagogy for children from kindergarten to grade
9. Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Education Degree, an Alberta Teaching Certificate, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and classroom management skills. A creative mindset is an asset in lesson planning and classroom engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver rich learning experiences through Waldorf education
• Create and organize effective lesson activities
• Ensure a supportive and committed classroom environment
• Facilitate communication with teachers and parents
• Engage in continuous professional growth opportunities
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education Degree required
• Must have an Alberta Teaching Certificate
• Classroom experience of at least 1 year preferred
• Level C First Aid certification upon hiring
• Recent Police Check with Vulnerable Sector is mandatory
