Elevate student learning as a Sessional Instructor for the Academic Upgrading program. Engage adult learners in essential science and math courses in a supportive university setting.
The School of Continuing Education is seeking qualified instructors to teach science and math courses from September 2, 2026, until December 2026. In-person classes will span Monday to Friday, focusing on subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, and Math. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor of Education or a Master's degree and experience in teaching adult learners with a strong focus on academic preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach core science and math courses to adult learners
• Provide individualized attention to students
• Foster an engaging and supportive learning environment
• Develop course materials and assessments
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education and/or Master’s degree
• Experience in teaching adult learners
• Strong practical knowledge in relevant subjects
• Enthusiasm for academic preparation
• Compliance with course scheduling and requirements
