Embark on a meaningful teaching journey as a part-time Grade 7 Teacher at Sacred Heart School in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. Focus on Language Arts and Math while supporting extracurricular efforts.
St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools is seeking a temporary part-time Grade 7 educator starting August 27, 2026. In this role, you will utilize Daily 5 and guided reading strategies while implementing effective literacy and numeracy interventions. Your engagement in co-curricular programs will greatly enhance student learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Grade 7 Language Arts and Mathematics effectively
• Utilize Daily 5 and guided reading strategies strategically
• Implement literacy and numeracy interventions as needed
• Support co-curricular and extra-curricular programming
Requirements:
• Familiarity with Daily 5 and guided reading strategies
• Commitment to supporting extracurricular programs
• Catholic Education Certificate from St. Joseph's College is an asset
• Ability to provide a current Criminal Record Check and Children’s Services record
