Position: Temporary Grade 3 Teacher - 1.0FTE
Location: Wetaskiwin

St.Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools invites applications for a temporary full-time Grade 3 teaching position at Sacred Heart School in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. This position will begin August 27, 2026 and end June 30, 2027.

Ability to assist in the schools co-curricular and extra-curricular programs would be considered an asset. Possessing a certificate in Catholic Education from St. Joseph's College is an asset.

The Government of Canada offers Student Loan Forgiveness to teachers who work in Wetaskiwin for 10 consecutive months and has a student loan in good standing. You could receive up to $30,000 over a maximum of 5 years. Please check out the link here:

Successful applicants will be required to submit a current (within 6 months) Criminal Record Check inclusive of a vulnerable sector check and a current Alberta Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within 6 months).
