Position Overview

St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools invites applications for a temporary full‑time Grade 3 teaching position at Sacred Heart School in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. This position will begin August 27, 2026 and end June 30, 2027.

• Certificate in Catholic Education from St. Joseph’s College – asset
• Ability to assist in the school’s co‑curricular and extra‑curricular programs – considered an asset
• Current Criminal Record Check (within 6 months) inclusive of a vulnerable sector check
• Current Alberta Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within 6 months)

The Government of Canada offers Student Loan Forgiveness to teachers who work in Wetaskiwin for 10 consecutive months and have a student loan in good standing. Teachers may receive up to 30000 over a maximum of 5 years.
