Join Northland School Division as a Substitute Teacher at Hillview School in the East Prairie Métis Settlement. Contribute to educational excellence for students in kindergarten through grade 6.

As a Substitute Teacher, you will ensure adherence to educational programs and deliver impactful lessons. Engage with students and provide valuable feedback, while championing the infusion of Cree language and culture. Collaborate with parents and the community to enhance the learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow prescribed educational programs for each subject

• Plan and execute diverse lesson plans

• Provide continuous feedback to students and families

• Advocate for Cree culture and language in curriculum

• Foster school-community-parent relations for student support

Requirements:

• Valid Alberta teaching certification

• Bachelor's degree in Education (BEd.)

• Experience in rural or Indigenous education settings

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

• Commitment to diverse learning strategies
