Position: Youth Success Coach with Cultural Focus
Location: Morinville

Morinville Community High School seeks a Youth Success Coach with a focus on Indigenous education. This part-time role involves mentoring students while fostering cultural connections and community ties.

In this position, you will engage with students and families to promote their educational journey and cultural understanding. Your efforts will support the school’s mission of building an inclusive and welcoming community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate individual and group mentoring for students

• Encourage Indigenous cultural participation and mentoring

• Assist families in engaging with community opportunities

• Support students in their daily transitions and challenges

• Design programs that meet diverse youth needs

Requirements:

• Completion of training in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, or equivalent

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Experience with diverse youth backgrounds and behavioral strategies

• Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and community connections

• Ability to model the values of Christ-centered education
