As a Casual Support Staff member, you will play a vital role at Parkland School Division, helping to create an inclusive atmosphere for over 12,000 students. Ideal candidates possess a diploma in Child and Youth Care or Education Assistance, and have experience with children facing challenges. Your support will extend to managing student interactions and assisting with various needs daily.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate positive interactions among students and staff

• Supervise and monitor student conduct effectively

• Assist with physical tasks involving student mobility

• Support students during break and bus transitions

Requirements:

• Diploma preferred in relevant fields

• Experience with children with communication delays

• First-Aid Level I certification is an asset

• Strong teamwork and communication abilities

• Open to diverse challenges in support roles
