Position: Full-Time High School Science Teacher
Location: Drayton Valley

Elevate students' learning at Holy Trinity Academy in Drayton Valley as a full-time High School Science teacher. Teach Science 9, 14, and 20 while engaging in co-curricular programs.

St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools is seeking a temporary full-time educator for the high school level. This position, starting August 26, 2026, offers the chance to inspire approximately 300 students through a Christ-centered education. The role includes the possibility of extension and values candidates with co-curricular involvement or a certificate in Catholic Education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Science courses for grades 9 to 12

• Encourage student participation in extra-curricular activities

• Collaborate with faculty on educational initiatives

• Foster academic, spiritual, and emotional growth

• Ensure adherence to curriculum guidelines

Requirements:

• Certification in Education with Science focus

• Ability to engage in co-curricular programs

• Commitment to Christ-centered education principles

• Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required

• Alberta Children's Services Intervention Record Check needed
