High School Math & Science Teacher-Tutor

Location: St. Albert

Support the academic journeys of high school students as a Teacher-Tutor in Math and Science. This part-time role focuses on grades 9-12 and values a dedication to student success.

Candidates will work during after-school hours, providing instruction in advanced mathematics and sciences. An ideal background includes a Bachelor’s degree and experience teaching this age group. Strong ability to communicate effectively and support multiple students will enhance learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach multiple students in varied subjects

• Follow structured tutoring approaches

• Document lesson outcomes and student progress

• Encourage professionalism and rapport with students

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification required

• Experience with high school curricula

• Strong command of the English language

• Proficiency in math and science concepts

• Ability to juggle academic needs of up to three students

Guide students as they navigate complex subjects and help them achieve their academic goals.
