Position: Multiple Full-time Teacher Assistants
Northern Gateway Public Schools invites applications for multiple Full-time Teacher Assistants at Homeland/Twilight Colony Schools, Valleyview, AB.
Successful Candidates Responsibilities   Working with students one-on-one & in small groups in a classroom setting
Teacher Assistants Qualifications   Educational Assistant Certificate (desirable)
Necessary Skills And Knowledge   Establish rapport and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents and staff
Work collaboratively and co-operatively with teacher and other educational assistants in the classroom/school
Understand and carry out oral and written direction
Work independently with minimal instruction
Demonstrate effective organizational and communication skills
Respect confidentiality
Practice professionalism with all students, staff, administration, parents and public
Be aware of NGPS policies and administrative procedures
Hours Of Work   6 hours per day/5 days per week
Wage Rate   $20.76/hour - $29.26/hour depending on qualifications and experience
