Position: English Writing Support Specialist Role

In this essential position, you will work one-on-one with students to enhance their academic progress. You will use your knowledge of learning theory and inclusive design principles to create personalized learning strategies. This role involves in-person and online tutoring, ensuring that every learner receives the support they need to succeed in their courses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess learner needs to develop tailored tutoring approaches

• Create an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere

• Work collaboratively with faculty and student services for coordinated support

• Connect learners with necessary resources and services

• Engage in projects that improve student learning outcomes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education;
Master’s work preferred

• Specialist knowledge in English and academic writing

• More than 2 years’ experience in educational settings

• Proficiency in differentiated learning strategies

• Commitment to equity and inclusion
