Endowed Chair in Forestry at University of Alberta

The University of Alberta seeks an Endowed Chair in Indigenous Forestry focused on decolonization and advancing Indigenous perspectives in forest management. This tenure-track role is exclusively for Indigenous candidates.

In this critical position, you will work to reshape the forestry curriculum by integrating Indigenous teachings and experiential learning opportunities. Your collaboration with Indigenous communities and various forestry sectors will address vital contemporary issues while fostering partnerships that support innovative solutions. Expectations include delivering community-centered presentations to facilitate knowledge exchange and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Restructure forestry curriculum to include Indigenous knowledge
