This opportunity is ideal for artists who want to share their expertise in a classroom setting without maintaining their own studio. You will guide students in mastering realistic techniques while fostering their love for art.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead watercolor and/or drawing classes at Michaels
• Create effective lesson plans for varied skill levels
• Market and promote your classes to earn a student following
• Ensure students complete a finished project each session
• Collaborate with management for class scheduling
Requirements:
• Strong capability in realistic painting and drawing
• Teaching experience or passion for education
• Readiness to become Grumbacher certified
• Ability to attract and build a class roster
• Excellent interpersonal skills for student engagement
