High School Tutor Math and Science

Position: High School Tutor for Math and Science
Empower high school students as a dedicated Tutor for Math and Science. Provide in-person tutoring in Edmonton, guiding students to excel in their academic endeavors.

The successful candidate will be part of a team dedicated to enhancing student performance in Mathematics and Science subjects. You will interactively teach and support up to three students at various academic levels, relying on pre-planned lessons. Strong math skills and comprehensive knowledge of relevant curriculums are critical for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach math and science concepts to groups of students

• Utilize Oxford Learning’s structured teaching philosophies

• Document lesson outcomes and provide feedback

• Foster a positive and professional learning atmosphere

• Conduct in-person teaching sessions effectively

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification

• Experience tutoring Grades 9-12 students

• Strong English verbal and written skills

• Capacity to manage multiple learners

• Must complete vulnerable sector screening
