St. Albert Public Schools is hiring two Full Time, Temporary Educational Assistant 1 positions for École Hillgrove. Focus on implementing Positive Behavior Support strategies in collaboration with teachers and staff.

This role requires commitment to managing diverse student behaviors and fostering learning environments. Ideal candidates will have experience supporting students with specific learning needs and working within a multi-disciplinary setting. The position requires effective supervision and behavior management for students primarily in Grades 1 and 2.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement Positive Behavior Support daily in classrooms

• Supervise students and assist with instruction

• Use assistive technology to aid student learning

• Collaborate with teachers and support staff

• Manage behaviors of students with complex needs

Requirements:

• Proven track record in Positive Behavior Support

• Formal education in a related discipline preferred

• Strong interpersonal and behavior management skills

• Verbal Intervention Training a plus

• Experience in early education settings preferred
