Position: Elk Island Catholic Schools Teacher - Social Studies
Location: Fort Saskatchewan

Elevate your teaching career as a Social Studies Teacher with Elk Island Catholic Schools re Bessette Catholic School in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. This full-time temporary role will focus on instructing Social Studies 20-1 and Grade 9.

We invite applications for a 0.5 FTE teaching position commencing as soon as possible, and lasting until June 29, 2027. A Bachelor of Education and an Alberta teaching certificate or eligibility are required. Candidates should embody the values of the Catholic faith while providing imaginative and impactful instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Social Studies 20-1 and Grade 9 effectively

• Assess and report on student learning outcomes

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education degree required
