The School of Continuing Education invites applicants for the entry-level, full-time, three-year limited term appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, Sustainability Studies, commencing January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible after this date, subject to final budgetary approval.

The successful applicant will hold a PhD (or evidence of near completion) with a focus on issues relating to sustainability education, theory, principles, and practices from an interdisciplinary perspective. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to undergraduate education and provide evidence of teaching excellence, curriculum development and experience with teaching online at a post-secondary level. Preference will be given to candidates who incorporate work-integrated learning approaches in their courses as well as project and community-based approaches to teaching and learning.

This is a teaching and service position at the Assistant Professor level with an expectation of a teaching workload of not more than 8 courses.
