Share your drumming expertise as a Drum Teacher with Long & McQuade in Edmonton South, AB. This contract role offers teaching opportunities during weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.
Long & McQuade is hiring a Drum Teacher to work as an independent contractor at our Lesson Centre. Successful candidates should possess a music degree or an equivalent qualification, such as Grade 8 RCM standing. Teaching experience with all age groups and knowledge of current teaching methods and lesson structures is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging drum lessons tailored to student abilities
• Design lesson plans that meet educational standards
• Create a supportive learning atmosphere for students
• Engage in teamwork to enhance lesson offerings
• Communicate student progress to parents
Requirements:
• Music degree or diploma or equivalent standing required
• Minimum Grade 8 RCM completion necessary
• Previous teaching experience with diverse age demographics
