Join the Online Learning & Continuing Education in Edmonton as an Instructional Designer. This hybrid role involves creating interactive online learning experiences for credit and non-credit programs.
You will support the Continuing Education team, reporting to the Manager of Curriculum Strategy and Quality. This position requires collaboration with academics and subject matter experts to design and develop learner-centered online courses. You will ensure a quality learning experience while applying best practices that prioritize accessibility and Indigenous Initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop online learning experiences for various educational programs
• Work closely with SMEs to ensure course accuracy
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of online courses
• Implement principles of Universal Design for Learning
• Foster community and belonging within educational materials
Requirements:
• Proven experience in online instructional design
• Familiarity with accessibility standards in education
• Collaborative working style with academic professionals
• Commitment to integrating Indigenous perspectives
• Skill in designing engaging digital learning environments
