Support student learning and development as an Educational Assistant at E.W. Pratt High School in High Prairie for the school year. Assist teachers and enhance educational programs for students.
High Prairie School Division is seeking an Educational Assistant to help implement educational and therapy programs. This support role involves working closely with students, adapting classroom activities, and maintaining student progress records. Your contributions will help build a cohesive community among diverse student backgrounds while promoting independence and self-help skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist teachers with Individual Program Plans
• Support student evaluations through data collection
• Observe and report special circumstances affecting students
• Assist with classroom discipline and activities
• Participate in field trips and off-campus activities
Requirements:
• Cover letter and recent resume
• Three professional references
• Original, recent Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
• Early Childhood Training or Teacher Assistant Certificate is an asset
• Experience with special needs is preferred
