As a Permanent Full-time Educational Assistant in the REAL program at Ecole Broxton Park School, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring essential personal care and academic support for students with diverse needs. You should have experience in classrooms catering to special needs and a familiarity with assistive technology. The core mission is to assist in student success and well-being through tailored instruction and care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and support for diverse student needs

• Collaborate with teachers and therapists effectively

• Assist in curriculum areas, adapting materials as necessary

• Monitor and support student behavior and development

• Maintain accurate records of student progress and care

Requirements:

• High School Diploma and Educational Assistant Certificate

• Experience working with special needs students preferred

• Knowledge of assistive technologies and safety protocols

• Training in Crisis Intervention and First Aid an asset

• Flexibility and strong communication skills required
