Windermere seeks a dedicated Behavioral Assistant to help implement strategies for students with unique needs. This role focuses on assisting children with emotional and behavioral regulation, preparing program materials, and compiling observations that promote positive outcomes. Your work will be integral to fostering learning and independence in young children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing individualized support for students

• Record observations to aid behavioral strategies

• Participate in collaborative planning for individualized programs

• Prepare educational materials under teacher direction

• Support children's daily personal care routines

Requirements:

• Educational Assistant Certificate or related field

• Minimum one year working with challenging behaviors

• Willingness to certify in behavior de-escalation

• CPR/First Aid Certification is an asset

• Effective communication and teamwork skills
