The Department of Agricultural, Food and Nutritional Science (AFNS) at the University of Alberta invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in Monogastric Nutrition.
The successful candidate will join the Division of Animal Science in the Department of Agricultural, Food and Nutritional Science. The Animal Science division contributes to the delivery of the BSc Agriculture program, the BSc Animal Health program, the MAg in Animal Science, the MSc in Animal Science, and the PhD in Animal Science. These programs are an integral part of the Faculty of Agricultural, Life, and Environmental Sciences (ALES), in the College of Natural and Applied Sciences.
The ALES poultry and swine programs have a network of commercial producers and commodity groups it collaborates with on a regular basis in addition to various other stakeholders. Engagement and leadership with industry partners, poultry and swine scientists, veterinarians, and knowledge of manufacturing and innovation globally is integral to the position.
