As an Early Learning Teacher – Explorer Stream, you will lead a team that’s shaping brighter futures for children ages 3-5. This role is all about leading meaningful, play-based learning in inclusive classrooms, working with an interdisciplinary team, and collaborating with families to support children as they reach key developmental milestones.

• Lead engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons and activities aligned with Alberta’s Early Learning and Child Care Framework.
• Use creative, play-based learning techniques to support children’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical growth.
• Provide support to children with daily care needs, including assistance with diapering, toileting, and hygiene routines.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team—such as Speech-Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, and Behavioral Consultant to implement tailored strategies that meet each child’s unique needs.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with families to ensure they feel empowered and connected to their child’s learning journey.
• Create a classroom environment that celebrates diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
• Assess developmental progress, adapt learning plans, and continuously monitor outcomes to help each child thrive.
