Role Description   The Adult Ministries Director is a key member of our ministry team, gifted in working with and pastoring adults in all stages of adult life in both small and mid-sized groups. As a direct report to the Senior Associate Pastor, this person will work closely with the Senior Associate to create, promote, and implement discipleship strategies that will engage the congregation in their own journey with Jesus.
Success in this position will require a strong walk with the Lord, a passion for discipleship, a love for people, the ability to coach, counsel, and lead others, as well as strength in administration.
Qualifications & Requirements   We are searching for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree and some theological training who has demonstrated several years of development and oversight in adult or discipleship ministry.
The successful candidate must be able to work under the guidance of senior leadership and collegially with a wide variety of staff and ministry teams. We prefer candidates with a demonstrated track record of equipping others to be leaders in this ministry area.
Experience in recruiting and resourcing volunteers is necessary.
