Early Learning Program Director

Lead early learning programming at Ivy Prep-Early Learning Academy in West Edmonton, using visionary leadership and emergent curriculum expertise. Guide educators and support children’s development.

This experienced Director oversees Ivy Prep’s childcare program and its delivery of responsive, high-quality care and education. The position combines staff supervision, regulatory compliance, budget management, and program planning. You will guide educators in implementing Alberta’s FLIGHT framework with intentional learning outcomes.

• Oversee childcare program operations and quality improvement
• Lead staff recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation
• Maintain compliance with licensing, health, fire, and safety standards
• Manage budgets, expenditures, payroll, fees, and grants
• Guide emergent curriculum implementation and learning outcomes

• Early Childhood Education diploma or degree
• Child Development Supervisor Certificate Level 3
• At least three years of progressive childcare experience
• Experience with budgets, policies, compliance, and staff supervision
• Valid First Aid, driver’s license, and required record check
