Parkland School Division seeks one part-time permanent Education Assistant, certified or non-certified, for its Kindergarten classroom. The position supports diverse instructional, behavioural, emotional, and physical care needs. Duties include individual learning programs, communication, observation records, and classroom preparation.

• Provide curriculum assistance individually or in small groups
• Support behavioural management and de-escalation strategies
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, feeding, and mobility
• Record observations, medication data, and student progress
• Prepare materials, supervise activities, and support classroom organization

• High School Diploma
• Teacher Assistant or Educational Assistant Certificate
• First Aid Certificate
• Experience working with children with challenging behaviours
• Ability to lift, transfer, and use specialized equipment
