Entry-Level Mining & Civil Technologist

Step into the mining sector as an Entry-Level Field Technologist! This hands-on role involves maintaining safety while monitoring operations at active mine sites and civil projects in remote areas.

Responsible for operations surveillance, you will be collaborating closely with project teams, conducting technical testing, and documenting key parameters. Your commitment to safety measures will play a critical role in achieving a zero-incident work environment. This position includes outdoor work with potential shifts extending to 12 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in daily site safety meetings

• Identify hazards and unsafe conditions proactively

• Carry out soil sampling and compaction testing

• Collaborate on quality control and data management

• Engage with stakeholders to gather critical information

Requirements:

• Diploma in geological, civil, or mining technology

• 3 years of relevant experience valued

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required

• Experience with geotechnical testing equipment preferred

• Capacity to work in harsh weather conditions
