Roseridge Waste Management Services Commission is seeking a Transfer Station Attendant to manage operations and support waste disposal efforts. Ensure that waste materials are sorted and discarded properly by residents.

In this role, you'll be pivotal in maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the transfer station. Your responsibilities include securing the site, inspecting materials, and ensuring compliance with waste disposal regulations. You will also engage with residents, ensuring a smooth and safe operation of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage security of the transfer station area

• Review waste materials disposed of by visitors

• Direct waste into appropriate designated areas

• Identify and act on hazardous waste situations

• Clean and maintain the station's condition daily

Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to work well with the public

• Completed Grade 12 education

• Must handle lifting and outdoor conditions

• Reliable and punctual work ethic

• Capable of working independently with little oversight
