As a Permit Coordinator, your primary responsibility will involve managing the coordination between the Operations and Maintenance teams while following the Control of Work Management Processes. You will support both routine operations and forced outages, ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to and facilitating effective communication among teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Issue, review, and approve various work permits
• Verify hazard assessments are completed before work starts
• Train and evaluate permit issuing and receiving
• Conduct field tours to ensure compliance with permit conditions
• Coordinate equipment isolations and maintain LOTO tracking
Requirements:
• 2nd Class Power Engineering certification preferred
• Experience in industrial or thermal operations
• Knowledge of work permit systems and LOTO practices
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to identify and challenge unsafe work practices
