Elevate your career as an Electrical Technologist focused on Alberta projects. This senior role emphasizes electrical design and compliance verification for fire alarm systems on commercial initiatives.
In this position, you will administer electrical contracts and provide essential engineering support. Your deep understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code and fire alarm standards will guide compliance and project success. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project delivery meets all safety and design specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer contracts from design through to commissioning
• Review and assess contractor submissions for compliance
• Conduct thorough site inspections for quality assurance
• Engage with various stakeholders throughout projects
• Prepare and manage detailed verification reports
Requirements:
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or Power Engineering
• Over 6 years of experience in related electrical fields
• Thorough knowledge of Alberta Building Code regulations
• C.E.T. certification preferred
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
