Join Acuren Canada as a Maintenance Electrician specializing in wind turbine operations. This exciting position focuses on ensuring the integrity of electrical and mechanical systems across remote locations in Saskatchewan and Alberta.
In this role, you'll support wind turbine maintenance projects starting in June 2026. Utilize your skills to diagnose and repair SGRE turbine systems while applying safety measures like Lockout/Tagout procedures. You will also perform inspections and repairs on rotor blades, enhancing your expertise in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on turbines
• Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic system issues
• Ensure standard adherence during turbine blade repairs
• Keep detailed records of operations and repairs
• Apply industry-standard testing procedures for compliance
Requirements:
• Valid Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician certification
• Minimum of 1-2 years' relevant experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical system knowledge
• GWO certifications seen as a strong advantage
• Ability to work at heights and travel regularly
