Facility Operator

Join a major Oil and Gas company in Edmonton as a Facility Operator on a one-year contract. Oversee equipment operations and ensure safety standards are met throughout the facility.

As a Facility Operator, you will maintain site integrity while implementing Safe Operating Practices. You will be engaged in emergency response drills, supervise contractors, and mentor junior staff. This role requires expertise in operating equipment, mechanical troubleshooting, and effective communication with the Control Center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee safe operation of facility process equipment

• Communicate with the Control Center daily

• Lead emergency response exercise drills

• Review and sign work permits for contractors

• Supervise third-party work and conduct pre-job meetings

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant operational experience

• Familiarity with DCS and HMI practices

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

• Understanding of P&

• Certifications in Power Engineering or NGP III preferred
