Join Ensign as a Drilling Superintendent located in Nisku, Alberta. This integral role emphasizes safety, performance monitoring, and client relations in drilling operations.
Reporting to the Vice President of Canadian Drilling, your experience of 10-15 years in drilling will be essential in managing field operations across assigned rigs. You will directly supervise Rig Managers and teams while ensuring compliance with safety standards and handling procurement tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee comprehensive rig operations and safety measures
• Evaluate Rig Manager performance and operational quality
• Conduct regular field inspections and safety checks
• Lead communication with clients on operational performance
• Participate in safety and operations meetings as needed
Requirements:
• 10-15 years in drilling rig operations
• Experience with Canadian drilling practices
• Knowledge of accounting for budgeting
• Familiarity with diverse rig types
• Compliance with necessary safety certifications
