Oil and Gas Operator

Position: Oil and Gas Operator Role
Become an integral part of a leading Oil and Gas company in Edmonton as an Operator for a one-year contract. Your focus will be on safe equipment management and site safety culture.

In this role, you will ensure smooth operation of facility processes and engage in safety initiatives. Responsibilities include mentoring junior operators and actively participating in health and safety meetings. You will also be responsible for preparing work permits and conducting inspections of equipment and railcars.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor facility process equipment performance

• Communicate with the Control Center operational updates

• Participate in emergency drills and safety exercises

• Prepare and manage work permits for contractors

• Conduct site inspections and oversee third-party work

Requirements:

• At least 3 years in a similar operational role

• Familiarity with control systems and mechanical troubleshooting

• Strong knowledge of P&

• Proficient in Microsoft Office software

• Relevant certifications like Power Engineering are a plus
