Field Operator

Position: Field Operator at Cenovus Energy
Location: Drayton Valley

Become a key player in our operations team as a Field Operator at Cenovus Energy. You will ensure safe operations of oil and gas assets in a full-time role with shift rotations.

This position supports either Drayton Valley or Rocky Mountain House, requiring local residency. As a Field Operator, you will monitor and operate wells, conduct maintenance, and uphold safety standards. Experience in upstream production is essential, along with a commitment to operational excellence and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate oil and gas facilities and equipment safely

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance

• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations

• Identify hazards and promote a strong safety culture

• Maintain operational records and incident reports

Requirements:

• 5-10 years in oil and gas operations

• Knowledge of HSE programs

• Grade 12 High School Diploma or GED

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive role
