Position: Hydrogen Production Commissioning Operator Role
Take your career to new heights as a Commissioning Operator for a Hydrogen Production Unit in Edmonton, Alberta. Lead the energization and testing of key equipment on a long-term contract in a major energy project.

In this dynamic role, you will provide field leadership throughout the startup process. You'll be responsible for overseeing commissioning procedures, conducting CC/MC walkdowns, and troubleshooting high-pressure subsystems. Your leadership will ensure effective vendor management and proper handover to the operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the initial energization and stabilization efforts

• Execute detailed commissioning procedures on site

• Troubleshoot complex high-pressure subsystems

• Collaborate with on-site vendors during operations

• Mentor the permanent operations team

Requirements:

• Must possess a 4th Class Power Engineer certification

• 3–5+ years of experience in Hydrogen Production Units

• Proficient in CO Shift Units and gas compression methods

• Necessary safety certifications: CSTS-20, H2S Alive, etc.

• Skills in MS Office and design tools like Bluebeam
