Intermediate Industrial Hygienist

Become a key team member as an Intermediate Industrial Hygienist based in Edmonton. This role focused on exposure assessments and health program evaluations also demands occasional travel and extended workdays for site support.

As a Safety Advisor III, you will operate with minimal supervision, engaging in various responsibilities related to workplace hazard identification and corrective action recommendations. You will also provide on-site support for turnarounds, conducting assessments on multiple health hazards, and supporting confined space job planning. Your expertise will ensure regulatory compliance while fostering communication with Safety and Engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate workplace hazards for corrective actions

• Update noise dosimetry and noise map data regularly

• Provide on-site field support during facility turnarounds

• Conduct qualitative exposure assessments and monitoring

• Liaise with various departments on exposure control technologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience

• Certified Industrial Hygienist or equivalent designation

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and IH instrumentation

• Valid Canadian driver’s license for travel
