Join the team as a Safety Advisor III focused on industrial hygiene in Edmonton. Tasked with evaluating workplace health programs, this position involves hotel stays during frequent travel to nearby facilities.
In the role of Intermediate Industrial Hygienist, you'll execute tasks such as hazard evaluations, compliance assessments, and regulatory documentation with minimal oversight. Your field support will be crucial during shutdowns and assessments of various health hazards. Moreover, you’ll assist with confined space plans while providing guidance to teams and conducting training sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct workplace exposure assessments for hazards
• Provide evaluation support during facility shutdowns
• Conduct training sessions as an instructor
• Update and manage health program documentation
• Respond to employee inquiries about safety regulations
Requirements:
• Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience
• Certified Industrial Hygienist designation preferred
• Strong writing and teamwork capabilities
• Familiarity with IH instrumentation and software
• Ability to travel frequently to Cold Lake or Calgary
