Apply process troubleshooting and equipment monitoring skills as an Air Products Production Technician in Edmonton’s advanced industrial energy facility.
At the Edmonton Net Zero Hydrogen and Energy Complex, this Production Technician supports operations across hydrogen, carbon capture, power generation, and air separation systems. The role requires cross-training across nine plant positions and participation on 12-hour day and night rotations. Technicians help maintain plant reliability and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor complex processes and perform established field checks
- Investigate incidents and complete root cause analyses
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures and issue work permits
- Identify operational improvement opportunities proactively
- Assist with technician training and competency assessment
- Third Class Power Engineer Certificate
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Refining or petrochemical operations experience
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
- Ability to climb, lift 50 pounds, and work elevated
Support dependable industrial operations through process monitoring, corrective actions, continuous improvement, and disciplined safety practices.
