Operate SCADA systems from Edmonton while developing pipeline control expertise, monitoring operations, and responding to abnormal conditions under supervision.
Enbridge seeks a Control Centre Operator I for regular full-time work in its control centre. You will learn liquid pipeline or terminal operations, pipeline hydraulics, system efficiency, and product quality requirements. The position supports safe, reliable energy movement through communication, records, troubleshooting, and training.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor pipeline or terminal operations using SCADA technology
- Identify, analyze, and respond to abnormal or emergency conditions
- Complete operator qualification and control centre training
- Maintain records using CMT, Maximo, JIRA, and flow computers
- Communicate with field teams and external shipper control centres
- Two-year technical diploma required
- Engineering degree preferred in a related discipline
- Minimal experience required; alternatives require two additional related years
- Ability to work 12-hour modified shifts
- Live within a 60-minute drive of Edmonton
