Job Description
CEDA is currently looking to hire a Field Quality Assurance Inspector for our Bonnyville Alberta region.
This position would be to support one of our clients with projects and requires candidates to live local to the Bonnyville/Cold Lake area.

Key
Duties & Responsibilities:
Field Quality Inspection & Surveillance
Assist in supporting field inspections for pressure equipment, piping, and structural components during construction.Support the review and validation of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Control (QC) packages, and turnover documentation for field activities.Witness hydrotests, baseline inspections, and installation activities as delegated by senior inspectors.Participate in field audits to verify compliance with Client’s Quality Management System (QMS).Documentation & Reporting
Compile inspection records, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and data sheets for review by senior QA staff.Confirm accurate documentation is in place and in accordance with company practices and regulatory requirements.Project Support
Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and contractors to ensure timely completion of QA activities in the field.Communicate inspection findings and recommendations to stakeholders, escalating issues as needed.Support the implementation of corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives related to field construction.Additional Information
This role is designed as a developmental position, with mentorship provided by senior QA staff.Work is focused exclusively on field construction within the Cold Lake/Bonnyville area.Scope also includes travel from facilities to shops as requiredQualifications:
At least 10 years' experience in the design, fabrication, or examination of industrial pressure piping ORProfessional engineering registration or nationally recognized equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the design, fabrication, or examination of industrial pressure piping ORCertified welding inspector with at least 5 years of experience in the design, fabrication, or examination of industrial pressure piping ORAuthorized piping inspector as defined by API 570 with at least 5 years of experience in the design, fabrication, or examination of industrial pressure pipingCWB level 2 certification is preferred (will accept a Level 1 with solid experience)Valid Class 5 licence with clean abstractAbility to navigate computer programs such as Blue Beam and Microsoft suite of products including Word and ExcelAble to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, booked by CEDASkills:
