Bridge Engineer

Match Box Consulting Group is seeking a Bridge Engineer to join the Transportation Structures team in Edmonton. The successful candidate will contribute to a variety of bridge projects across Alberta, carrying out detailed technical work, leading design teams, and managing projects within budget, scope, and quality requirements.
Responsibilities

• Lead the structural team in analysis, design, evaluation, and preparation of calculations and drawings.
• Prepare technical reports based on technical analysis, modeling, and design calculations.
• Prepare proposals, bids, and contract documentation.
• Monitor, control, and report project status internally and externally.
• Assist with financial arrangements for projects including fee forecasting, preparation, and allocation.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and instruction to junior staff

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering;
  Master’s in Structural Engineering is an asset.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in bridge engineering within the consulting industry.
• Related experience with Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors or the City of Edmonton is considered an asset.
• Strong planning, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Committed team player with leadership potential.
• Willingness to travel occasionally; valid driver’s license required.
