Enhance Alberta’s outdoor spaces as an Infrastructure Planner with the Parks Division in Edmonton. This full-time role involves evaluating and developing capital assets across diverse park locations.
As a Capital Systems Planner, you will be tasked with the assessment and planning of vital infrastructure, including utilities and facilities. You will work closely with operations and project teams to ensure that capital systems align with program objectives and regulatory requirements. This position requires strong collaboration with stakeholders and managing contracts effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan province-wide capital asset systems effectively
• Perform infrastructure condition assessments and evaluations
• Assess refurbishment or replacement priorities of assets
• Collaborate with teams to resolve project conflicts
• Oversee consultant activities and stakeholder feedback
Requirements:
• Technical diploma in a related engineering field
• Minimum six years in capital and infrastructure planning
• Proficiency in stakeholder engagement and communication
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation
• Experience in asset management and project oversight
Utilize your skills in planning and management to support Alberta’s vital recreational areas.
