This role involves collaborating with OEM departments to develop clear, concise support documentation for Salvage practices. You will validate technical specifications, support continuous improvement initiatives, and analyze salvage processes to uncover cost-saving opportunities. Your contributions directly enhance the quality and repeatability of high-grade components.
Key Responsibilities:
• Combine technical information with OEM processes for documentation
• Validate specs and practices with Value Streams
• Produce drawings and photos for clarity in documentation
• Initiate audits to support quality objectives
• Analyze salvage practices to identify cost-saving opportunities
Requirements:
• Engineering degree in mechanical, metallurgical, or related fields
• Proven technical writing and research skills
• Experience with heavy-duty engines or CAT equipment
• Strong root-cause analysis abilities
• Effective communication skills in writing and verbally
Utilize documentation, analysis, and technical aptitude to improve OEM Salvage processes and product quality.
